Welcome To Our Website

NAGC is a national charity covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our long term aim is to ensure that appropriate support and provisions are made for gifted children so that they can develop their gifts and talents to the maximum. In the short term we aim to offer immediate support and advice to those involved with gifted children as parents, teachers, health visitors and local and national governments.

We are here to help. It is our hope that this website is both informative and easy to navigate. We want you to be able to find the information you want quickly and easily so that you can move on to the next stage of your search with the minimum of effort. There is a general menu bar across the top and a detailed menu section down the right hand side of most pages to help you find the information you want.
This website has four main zones:

• Children and Youth Zone - with sub groups for children of different ages


• School Zone


• Volunteer Zone

For each of these zones there is also an

• "open area" - available to all web browsers. There is general information about giftedness in this area but the level of coverage is limited, and a


• "members' area" -  which is available to members only through a password protected login. Here there is much more information and practical advice.
