| NAGC Chief Executive Invited to Give Evidence |
| NAGC's Chief Executive, Denise Yates, was invited to give oral evidence in connection with an inquiry by the Children, Schools and Families Committee into the Gifted and Talented Programme.
The inquiry took place on Monday 1st February 2010 and was transmitted live via the internet. Other people giving evidence include Professor Deborah Eyre, former Director of NAGTY, Sue Mordecai, Chair of Board of Trustees at NACE, Joy Baker, officer with G&T responsibility at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Richard Gould, Director at Villiers Park Educational Trust. Also giving evidence was Diana Johnson MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the DCSF, Dr Geraldine Hutchinson, Assistant Director UK Services Group at CfBT, Jon Coles, Director General for Schools, DCSF and Professor John Stannard CBE, National Champion for G&T Learners.
