Clubs, Groups and Organisations

Become a young member of your local museum or of a national museum like the Natural History Museum in London.
Ask at your local library about local organisations that have youth branches. There may be local youth volunteers or a local interest club.
Check out a specific area of interest such as bird or conservation http://www.rspb.org.uk/
Contact the local Adult Centre for Education, sometimes via your librabry or local community college, for evening classes and one day workshops or Lifelong Learning.
Contact your local Community College for information on day courses, workshops and seminars in life skills to help with social and emotional difficulties. Many of them offer communication skills, assertiveness, leadership skills, anger management and much more.
Enquire with your school head, Local Authority and/or local Further Education College for information and establishments that consder students for early entry for GCSE and/or A Level.
